Operations Coordinator

Thorn Baker Industrial is a well-established engineering company seeking a highly organized and proactive individual to join our office team.

We offer a competitive salary of £11.50-£12.50 per hour, depending on experience, as well as various benefits including free parking and a good location with easy access to public transport.

The successful candidate will be responsible for general office duties, such as answering calls, photocopying, and replying to emails. They will also assist with purchasing, booking in, logging, and running reports using a manufacturing system. Additionally, they will be involved in ordering equipment, including PPE.

To be successful in this role, you will need to be well-organized, confident, and outgoing. Experience with purchasing is essential, and some knowledge of a manufacturing system is desirable but not required. You will also need to be able to take initiative and ask questions when needed.

This is a full-time position working Monday – Friday 8am – 5pm, with a 4.30pm finish on Fridays. We offer full support and training where needed, and you will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic and supportive team environment.
