Job Title: Advanced Clinical Research Specialist

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Advanced Clinical Research Specialist to join our team at St George's University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires strong clinical skills, leadership abilities, and a passion for delivering high-quality patient care.

The successful candidate will be responsible for assessing and treating MSK patients within the foot and ankle unit at St Georges Orthopaedic department and within physiotherapy. They will also support the training and supervision of junior staff and students.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Expert assessment and treatment skills for MSK patients and specifically lower limb patients
  • Good organisation and time management
  • Works autonomously within orthopaedic practitioner role and able to manage a busy MSK caseload

Person Specification:

  • Registered AHP
  • MSc in Advanced Practice or equivalent
  • Undertaken accredited course or gained digital badge accreditation with NHSE Centre for advancing practice
  • Completed advanced practice accreditation in speciality e.g. RCEM, RCN, full membership MACP
  • Completed portfolio of supervised practice in speciality
  • Relevant NHS leadership qualification or working towards
  • Independent or supplementary non-medical prescriber (where relevant)
