Job Overview

As a Field Service Engineer at Endress + Hauser Limited, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our customers' process control systems.

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Field Service Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Commissioning, calibrating, and repairing onsite instrumentation;
  • Working in various industries within our customer database;
  • Liaising with Service Coordinators to ensure all necessary resources are available;
  • Providing exceptional customer service and communicating effectively with clients;
  • Adhering to site safety rules, permit-to-work systems, and conducting risk assessments;
  • Traveling throughout the UK, overseas, and potentially offshore;
  • Supporting other departments and customers as required by the Services Manager;
  • Submitting timely and accurate job reports according to Company service report forms.

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A minimum of ONC/HNC level qualification in Electronics or Instrumentation, or a recognised apprenticeship in a related field;
  • At least 2 years of experience in process control;
  • Problem-solving and diagnostic skills;
  • Experience working with process instrumentation or similar equipment;
  • The ability to work independently or as part of a team;
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills;
  • The capacity to develop strong relationships with customers;
  • Punctuality and excellent timekeeping;
  • A clean driving license.
