Theatre Nurse / ODP Role Overview

We are seeking a skilled Theatre Nurse / ODP to join our team at a reputable private hospital in East Kent. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced professional to work in a dynamic and forward-thinking environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide high-quality care to patients in the perioperative department
  • Assist in the management and organisation of care provision within the theatre team
  • Discuss and agree patient assessment responsibilities, including needs and associated risks
  • Plan, deliver and evaluate care to meet patient health and wellbeing needs
  • Communicate effectively with patients and colleagues, prioritising customer service standards
  • Work independently and as part of a team to achieve clinical outcomes

Requirements

  • NMC / HCPC registration with no restrictions
  • Eligibility to live and work in the UK
  • At least 1 year of UK experience working in theatre
  • Acute hospital experience and working within theatre
  • Experience working in a busy environment under minimal supervision
