Audit Semi-Senior Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Audit Semi-Senior to join our team in Guildford. As a key member of our audit team, you will be responsible for assisting in the planning and execution of audit and assurance engagements across various industries.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Assist in the planning and execution of audit and assurance engagements, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  2. Prepare financial statements, reports, and documentation, utilizing strong IT skills and knowledge of Excel.
  3. Perform risk assessments and testing of internal controls for clients, identifying areas for improvement.
  4. Liaise with clients to resolve audit queries and present findings, providing clear and concise communication.
  5. Supervise and mentor junior audit staff, providing guidance and feedback to ensure their professional development.
  6. Delegate routine work to junior staff, reviewing their work to ensure quality and accuracy.
  7. Stay up-to-date with changes in accounting and audit standards, applying this knowledge to improve our services.
Requirements:
  1. AAT qualification or equivalent, with a strong understanding of accounting principles.
  2. Greater than a year's experience in an audit team, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality work.
  3. Strong IT skills, including proficiency in Excel and experience with Caseware Cloud and CCH Accounts Production.
