Prison Healthcare Specialist

Oxleas NHS Foundation Trust is a leading provider of healthcare services in the South of England, and we are currently seeking a highly skilled Senior Nurse to join our team at HMP Exeter.
The successful candidate will have a minimum of two years' experience at Band 5 and a postgraduate qualification or equivalent experience. They will also have a working knowledge of current issues facing prison and offender healthcare, as well as experience of multi-professional collaboration.
This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and compassionate individual to make a real difference in the lives of prisoners. As a Senior Nurse, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality primary care services and specialist interventions, as well as managing a complex clinical caseload.
Our team works closely with other professionals and agencies to provide effective and responsive care to improve wellbeing and support better outcomes for offenders. We pride ourselves on our kind and fair approach to care, and we are committed to listening to and caring for our patients.
We estimate that the salary for this position will be around £44,000-£55,000 per annum, depending on experience.
