We are seeking a highly skilled individual to assist our catering team as a kitchen assistant in our residential care home.
Our catering team plays a vital role in providing healthy, nutritious, and tasty meals that cater to the lifestyle and dietary needs of our residents.
As a kitchen assistant, you will be responsible for assisting in the preparation, cooking, and serving of meals, maintaining a clean and hygienic working environment, and observing food hygiene regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in food preparation and cooking for our residents.
- Maintain a clean and hygienic kitchen environment.
- Observe food hygiene regulations.
- Work as part of a team to provide excellent service to our residents.
- Attend meetings and training activities as required.
About You:
- You should have a basic food hygiene certificate and a food-related qualification.
- You should be able to work as part of a team and provide excellent customer service.
- You should be a well-organised, practical, and adaptable person.
Working Hours:
Part-time hours: 9.5 hours per week.
Other shifts may be available on a bank basis.
