Harrington Starr is seeking a seasoned Senior Cybersecurity Architect to lead the design, architecture, and implementation of a secure Microsoft 365 (M365) environment. As a subject matter expert (SME) in Microsoft security suite, you will be responsible for embedding security controls within the M365 environment and future-proofing the security of the organization's M365 estate.

This role is part of a global organization's significant investment in cybersecurity and will join a team of architecture experts with specialized knowledge in various areas. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in security architecture, with a strong emphasis on M365, and possess strong security design skills.

The Senior Cybersecurity Architect will be responsible for:

  • Designing and implementing a secure M365 environment
  • Acting as SME for Microsoft security suite, with a focus on Microsoft Defender for Cloud, Defender for Identity, and Defender for Office 365
  • Embedding security controls within the M365 environment
  • Futurescoping the security of the organization's M365 estate
  • Managing senior-level stakeholders internally and externally

To be considered for this role, you will need:

  • Experience in a security architecture role with a strong emphasis on M365 and strong security design skills
  • Experience with Microsoft Purview integrated data security services, including data encryption, classification, and labeling
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Sentinel
  • Extensive experience with Microsoft Defender
  • Experience integrating Identity and Access Management controls into an M365 environment
  • Any of the following certifications highly desirable: MS-500, AZ500, SC-900, and SC-4000
  • CISSP certification highly desirable
