Training Equipment Engineering Manager

We are seeking an experienced Engineering Manager to lead our team in managing the Rolls Royce Manoeuvring Room Trainer contract and simulators. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing a single point of contact for defects and maintenance of simulators, liaising between the Training Management Group and Rolls Royce, and managing specific risks and ensuring the team takes the correct mitigating action.
Key Responsibilities- Manage the maintenance and repair of submarine simulators
- Coordinate with the Training Management Group and Rolls Royce to ensure smooth operations
- Identify and mitigate risks associated with simulator maintenance and operation
- Develop and implement strategies to improve simulator performance and efficiency
- Collaborate with the project team to manage major upgrades and ensure timely completion
- Relevant engineering qualification and experience in the naval defence environment
- Experience with submarine simulators and training equipment
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
- UK SC clearance
