Job Title: Environmental Health Officer

At Ellie Mental Health - 105, we are seeking a highly skilled Environmental Health Officer to join our team. As an Environmental Health Officer, you will play a crucial role in protecting the health and well-being of our community.

Job Summary

The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting inspections and investigations to ensure compliance with environmental health regulations. You will work closely with local authorities, businesses, and residents to identify and address environmental health concerns.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct regular inspections of food premises, housing, and other environmental health-related sites
  • Investigate complaints and reports of environmental health concerns
  • Provide guidance and advice to businesses and residents on environmental health regulations and best practices
  • Collaborate with local authorities and other stakeholders to develop and implement environmental health policies and programs
  • Prepare and present reports and recommendations to senior management and other stakeholders
Requirements
  • Relevant degree in environmental health, public health, or a related field
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Valid driver's license
