Job Overview

This role will involve working closely with our multidisciplinary team to ensure the safe and effective use of cardiac surgery equipment. You will be responsible for setting up, priming, and running bypass equipment for adult and pediatric cardiac surgery procedures, adhering to established protocols and procedures.

In addition to your technical expertise, you will also have the opportunity to develop your skills in teaching and research, sharing your knowledge with colleagues and contributing to the development of departmental practices and protocols.

  • Working collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality patient care
Requirements
  • Full registration by COPGBI Perfusion Sciences Basic accreditation
  • Advanced registration by SOPGBI
  • MSc Perfusion Science Management (CMS/DMS)
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Able to work under pressure in intense clinical situations

We offer a competitive salary range of £40,000 - £60,000 per annum, depending on experience, as well as opportunities for professional development and career advancement.
