Job Title: Cover Supervisor

Protocol Education is seeking a reliable and flexible Cover Supervisor to support our schools in the Telford/Shrewsbury area.

Job Overview:

As a Cover Supervisor, you will be responsible for maintaining continuity in the classroom by overseeing students' learning in the absence of their regular teacher. This involves implementing pre-prepared lesson plans, managing classroom behaviour, and ensuring a positive and conducive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and manage classrooms in the absence of regular teachers.
  • Deliver pre-prepared lesson plans and ensure a positive learning environment.
  • Manage classroom behaviour and address any challenges that may arise.
  • Complete administrative tasks related to cover supervision responsibilities.
Requirements:
  • A degree in Education or related field is advantageous.
  • Strong communication and organisational skills.
  • Ability to adapt quickly and manage various classroom environments.
  • Has or is willing to obtain an enhanced DBS.
  • The right to work in the UK.
