About the Apprenticeship

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Manufacturing Engineering Apprentice. As a key member of our manufacturing team, you will be responsible for assisting in the production and assembly of space flight and semiconductor hardware, following strict procedures and quality standards.


Key Responsibilities

Some of your key responsibilities will include:


  1. Operating and maintaining manufacturing equipment and tools, including lathes, manual milling machines, multi-axis CNC machines, sheet metal fabrication machines, and 3D printing machines.
  2. Contributing to the development and continuous improvement of new manufacturing processes and procedures.
  3. Performing inspections and tests to ensure products meet specifications.
  4. Assisting in the maintenance of manufacturing documentation and records.
  5. Participating in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance manufacturing efficiency and quality.
  6. Working collaboratively with the engineering and operations teams to troubleshoot and resolve manufacturing issues.
  7. Supporting the maintenance and cleanliness of the manufacturing area and equipment.
  8. Participating in training programs and courses to enhance technical and professional skills.
  9. Adhering to health and safety protocols at all times to ensure a safe working environment.

To be considered for this apprenticeship, you should meet the following requirements:


  1. Have a strong interest in manufacturing and engineering.
  2. Have excellent attention to detail and manual dexterity.
  3. Be able to follow instructions and work accurately in a fast-paced environment.
  4. Have good communication and teamwork skills.
  5. Have basic computer skills.
  6. Be willing to learn and take on new challenges.
  7. Be flexible to adapt to changing priorities and tasks.
