Company Overview:

We are seeking a talented Principal Software Architect to join our team on a permanent basis. As a key member of our software development team, you will be responsible for leading the design, development, and support of innovative software solutions.

Responsibilities:

  1. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop, test, and maintain applications using C# and .NET technologies.
  2. Provide technical expertise on high-quality code, ensuring robust and scalable software solutions.
  3. Debug and troubleshoot issues within production systems, working on bug fixes and system enhancements.
  4. Participate in code reviews and contribute to improving development processes.
  5. Ensure the implementation of development best practices, including unit testing, documentation, and process adherence.

Requirements:

The ideal candidate will have the following skills and experience:

  1. Strong understanding within C# and .NET development.
  2. Strong understanding of object-oriented programming and design patterns.
  3. Experience working with Microsoft SQL Server or other relational databases.
  4. Proficiency with asynchronous programming and multi-threaded environments.

Desirable Skills:

The following skills are desired but not essential:

  1. Experience with microservices architecture and containerisation (Docker/Kubernetes).
  2. Familiarity with NoSQL databases such as MongoDB or Redis.
  3. Exposure to real-time or high-frequency data processing environments.
  4. Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
