Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced HVAC Engineer to join our client, a leading HVAC company in the East Midlands area. As an HVAC Engineer, you will be responsible for servicing, fault finding, and repairing air conditioning systems, including VRV/VRF's, Split Units, Chillers, AHUs, and Cold Rooms.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on air conditioning systems
  • Conduct thorough fault finding and diagnostic tests to identify and resolve issues
  • Install and commission new air conditioning systems
  • Provide excellent customer service and support to clients
  • Work collaboratively with the service team to ensure efficient and effective service delivery

Requirements:

  • Apprenticeship served within the air conditioning industry (Not Essential)
  • Level 2 or Level 3 NVQ Air Conditioning and Refrigeration or equivalent
  • 2079 Safe Handling of Refrigerants (F-Gas)
  • Full Driving Licence
  • Experienced with service, maintenance, fault finding, and repair

Benefits:

  • Basic Salary up to £42,000 DOE

  • Profit share scheme applicable after 12 months' service - Up to £3,600 tax free
  • Overtime paid at 1.5x
  • 40 hour working week, travel paid after 30 mins each way
  • On call allowance (1 in 4/5, £1,200 guaranteed - if called out Travel Paid door to door)

  • 22 days' holidays plus bank holidays this will increase to 25 days after 5 years and 30 days after 10 years.
