Job Title: Management Accountant - Financial Planning Expert

Our client, a leading provider of luxury goods, is seeking a talented Management Accountant to join their dynamic team and support their continued growth.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the financial planning, forecasting, and analysis processes to drive business performance.
  • Prepare management accounts, financial reports, and budgets to ensure accurate financial data.
  • Collaborate with the Finance Manager to identify trends, risks, and opportunities, and provide actionable insights.
  • Manage the collation and interpretation of accurate weekly and monthly management accounts and reports.
  • Ensure the accuracy of P&L, Balance Sheet reconciliation, and cash flow reporting for the group's businesses.
  • Investigate unusual or unexpected departmental and activity results or variances, and bring them to the attention of the Finance Director.
  • Provide support to the Finance Director in the coordination and production of the annual budget and periodic forecasts.
  • Support senior management and key stakeholders in making informed financial decisions, and communicate and interpret financial data to non-financial managers.
  • Undertake other relevant tasks as required.
Personal Profile:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Professional accounting qualification (e.g., ACCA, CIMA, ACA) is preferred.
  • Proven experience as a Management Accountant or in a similar financial role, ideally within the luxury, retail, or FMCG sectors.
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting, and budgeting processes.
  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data and provide actionable insights.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy, with a commitment to maintaining high standards of work.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently and meet deadlines.
