Job Title: Contract SAP CPI Specialist

Location: Midlands, UK (Hybrid: 1-2 days onsite per week)

Contract Duration: 12 months

Role Overview:

Our client is seeking an experienced SAP CPI Specialist to support a key integration project on a 12-month contract basis. The role involves hybrid working, with 1-2 days per week onsite in the Midlands and the remainder remote.

The successful candidate will play a crucial role in designing, building, and optimizing CPI solutions to ensure seamless data flow and system integration.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the design, development, and deployment of SAP CPI integrations for new and existing systems.
  • Collaborate closely with business stakeholders and technical teams to define integration requirements and deliver robust solutions.
  • Manage end-to-end integration workflows, including troubleshooting and performance optimization.
  • Implement enhancements, updates, and new interfaces to meet evolving business needs.
  • Provide technical guidance and share best practices across teams.
  • Ensure documentation of technical processes, configurations, and data mappings.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of hands-on experience in SAP CPI/PI/PO.
  • Deep understanding of SAP Cloud Platform Integration and its role in system architecture.
  • Proficient in integration technologies such as SOAP, REST, OData, HTTP, RFC, and IDocs.
  • Strong skills in XML, XSLT, JSON, and message mapping.
  • Ability to work effectively in a hybrid environment with minimal supervision.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Nice to Have:

  • Knowledge of SAP S/4HANA or other SAP modules.
  • Familiarity with additional programming languages (e.g., JavaScript or Groovy scripting).
  • Previous experience in UK-based SAP projects.
