This exciting new role has been created to support the growth of our technical function, working closely with a diverse range of suppliers. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work with a broad cross-section of suppliers, with a focus on maintaining and developing processes for technical approval.

The Role
We are seeking an experienced Technical Procurement Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will have a strong background in food manufacturing, preferably with experience in supplier-facing roles. They will be responsible for creating raw material specifications, conducting external audits, and ensuring compliance with UK retailers' codes of practice and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintaining and developing processes for technical approval
- Working closely with suppliers to ensure compliance with quality standards

Requirements
The successful candidate will have:
- A strong background in food manufacturing, preferably with experience in supplier-facing roles
- Experience in creating raw material specifications and conducting external audits
- Knowledge of UK retailers' codes of practice and quality standards
- A full UK driving licence
