Support Worker

About the Role:

We are seeking a caring and self-motivated Support Worker to join our team at Voyage Care. As a Support Worker, you will have the opportunity to make a real difference in the life of a lady in her own home in Newmarket.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with personal care and daily living tasks to enable the lady to live as independently as possible.
  • Support the lady to access local communities and participate in activities that promote her physical and emotional well-being.
  • Work on a rota basis, mainly with two other colleagues, to ensure a good work-life balance.
  • Participate in training and development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge.

Requirements:

  • Experience of working with people with learning and/or physical disabilities (advantageous).
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Flexibility to work variable shifts, including some weekend work and sleep-ins.
  • Clean driving licence (advantageous).
