The successful candidate will be responsible for servicing, repairing, maintaining, and ensuring the safety compliance of gas systems within social housing properties on a price per service basis.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Diagnose and repair faults in gas systems, identifying and replacing parts as necessary.
  • Conduct routine safety inspections for leaks and emissions, ensuring compliance with regulations.
  • Attend emergency call-outs for breakdowns or leaks, providing prompt and effective solutions.
  • Communicate effectively with customers about issues, repairs, and safety, providing excellent customer service.
  • Complete service reports and ensure adherence to regulations, maintaining accurate records.
  • Conduct regular maintenance to prevent future breakdowns, ensuring the smooth operation of gas systems.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Gas Service & Repair Engineer, preferably in social housing.
  • CENWAT, CCN1, HTR1, and CKR certifications, with Gas Safe registration.
  • Thorough knowledge of gas appliances, systems, and safety regulations.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail, with strong communication and customer service abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong work ethic and commitment to excellence.
