This exciting role will involve leading and mentoring a team of junior technicians in deploying autonomous marine technology to support Plymouth Marine Laboratory's digital strategy.

The successful candidate will have experience in robotic systems, marine electronics, and component integration, with a strong ability to solve complex problems quickly in a pressurized environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Develop and implement robotic systems for marine applications.
  2. Collaborate with technical teams to integrate and prototype technologies using Smart Sound platforms.
  3. Work with teams to deploy and maintain marine autonomous platforms.
  4. Develop and maintain advanced communication systems and computer networking.
  5. Design and implement scientific payloads and optimized deployment protocols.
