The successful candidate will be responsible for managing day-to-day data centre operations, applying a risk-focused maintenance approach, supervising contractors, and taking ownership of technical training and competency development.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Manage Day-to-Day Operations:
    • Ensure planned preventive maintenance (PPM) and reactive tasks are completed on schedule.
    ">
  • Risk-Focused Maintenance Approach:
    • Maintain critical facilities in line with Health & Safety procedures.
    ">
  • Supervise Contractors:
    • Manage permits and ensure compliance with safety and operational standards.
    ">
  • Technical Training and Competency Development:
    • Take ownership of personal technical training and scenario training.
    ">
">

Requirements

">
  • Qualifications:
    • 18th Edition Electrical Wiring Regulations, Electrical City & Guilds (2391-52 Testing & Inspection preferred).
    ">
  • Experience:
    • Background in critical change management, electrical and mechanical maintenance, and knowledge of data centre operations.
    ">
  • Additional Skills:
    • Strong communication skills, computer literacy, and team-oriented approach.
    ">

What We Offer

  • Salary: £55,000 - £65,000 per annum, depending on experience.
  • Benefits: Participation in rota for out-of-hours emergency coverage (call-out allowance included), clean driving license essential.
