Job Title: Cloud Engineering Lead

About the Role:

Lorien is seeking an experienced Cloud Engineering Lead to join our Cloud Platform Services Team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing scalable cloud solutions that meet the needs of our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement cloud-based solutions using Azure Events Hubs, Kafka, and other relevant technologies.
  • Lead the development of high-quality software that complies with coding standards and best practices.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and deployment of cloud-based solutions.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in cloud engineering, with a focus on Azure and related technologies.
  • Strong understanding of cloud-based architectures, including event-driven design and containerization.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Experience with C#.NET 7, Entity Framework, Microsoft ADO, SQL Server, Oracle DB, and other relevant technologies.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with NET 8, ASP.NET Blazor, MongoDB, Kubernetes, Open Telemetry, Datadog, Promethius, and Grafana.
  • Strong understanding of DevOps practices, including CI/CD and automated testing.
