**About the Role**

We are seeking a dedicated and motivated individual to join our team as an Academic Support Assistant at Mountfield Heath School in Robertsbridge, East Sussex.

The successful candidate will work closely with our Senior Leadership Team to provide academic support to students, promote social and emotional development, and undertake administrative tasks.

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, be able to work effectively in a team environment, and possess a strong commitment to supporting the educational needs of pupils.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support access to learning by attending to the welfare and learning needs of students;
  • Promote social and emotional development through positive approaches that encourage appropriate relationships and self-esteem;
  • Work with small groups or one-to-one, undertaking general clerical and organisational support for teachers;

**Required Skills and Qualifications:**

  • English and Maths A-C (or equivalent);
