About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician to join our team at CV Library. As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for electrical and mechanical fault finding and rectification on CNC and cutting machinery.

The ideal candidate will have previous experience as a Maintenance Engineer within a manufacturing environment and possess mechanical and electrical fault finding capabilities.

Responsibilities include conducting planned and preventative maintenance on an array of automated machinery, adhering to company Health & Safety policies, and working with minimal supervision.

Salary and Benefits:

  • A competitive salary of £38,000 per annum, dependent on experience
  • Overtime available and paid at 1.5x, 2x on Sundays
  • 33 days holiday including bank holidays

Requirements:

  1. Previous experience as a Maintenance Engineer within a manufacturing environment (essential)
  2. Mechanical and Electrical fault finding capabilities (essential)
  3. Multi-skilled engineer with either a mechanical or electrical bias - electrical bias but not required (essential)
  4. Previous experience surrounding hydraulics and pneumatics (essential)
  5. The ability to read and interpret mechanical and electrical drawings (essential)
  6. Relevant Electrical/Mechanical Qualifications (City & Guilds/NVQs) - Advantageous
  7. Bench fitting, machining and fabrication experience (advantageous)
  8. Knowledge of safety control (advantageous)
  9. Ability to work with little supervision, self-motivated, willing to learn and ability to provide solutions to problems.
