Job Title: Advanced Clinical Pharmacist

We are seeking an experienced Clinical Pharmacist to join our team at Liverpool Heart and Chest Hospital NHS Foundation Trust. As a Clinical Pharmacist, you will play a vital role in providing pharmaceutical care to patients across various specialties, including cardiology, respiratory medicine, cardiothoracic surgery, and palliative care.

About the Role

As a Clinical Pharmacist, you will be responsible for:

  • Providing pharmaceutical care to patients while rotating through various specialties
  • Working closely with our Pharmacy Team to develop and implement an efficient and comprehensive pharmaceutical service
  • Participating in our comprehensive in-house training program and being mentored by a senior clinical pharmacist
  • Opportunities to study for a clinical pharmacy diploma/MSc and Non-Medical Prescribing pathway

Person Specification

We are looking for a candidate with:

  • Registration with the General Pharmaceutical Council
  • Vocational Masters degree in Pharmacy
  • Pre-registration training and experience
  • Demonstrable team working and commitment to CPD
