Job Title: Driver - Healthcare Waste Management

We are seeking a skilled and experienced driver to join our team at Initial Medical, a leading provider of healthcare waste management services in the UK.

Job Summary:

As a driver for Initial Medical, you will be responsible for collecting and transporting healthcare waste from various locations to our waste transfer stations. You will work closely with our team to ensure that all waste is handled and disposed of in a safe and environmentally responsible manner.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collect and transport healthcare waste from various locations to our waste transfer stations
  • Ensure that all waste is handled and disposed of in a safe and environmentally responsible manner
  • Work closely with our team to ensure that all waste is processed and disposed of efficiently
  • Operate company vehicles in a safe and responsible manner
  • Perform routine vehicle checks and maintenance tasks

Requirements:

  • A full UK driving license with two years' experience and six points or less
  • Great customer service skills
  • Flexibility with working hours
  • An ability to use your initiative and have a positive 'can-do' attitude
  • Good geographical driving knowledge
  • An ADR certificate (not essential as training will be provided)
