## Job Title: Qualified Early Years Bank Staff

## Job Summary

We are seeking a qualified Early Years Bank Staff member to join our team at Bright Horizons The Park Day Nursery and Preschool in Watford. As a Bank Staff Member, you will have the flexibility to work when you want, while enjoying the security and benefits of being an employee.

## Key Responsibilities

* Support Nursery colleagues in delivering the EYFS by engaging children in entertaining and educational play and activities, encouraging their development towards key milestones, and ensuring their safety throughout the day
* Work as part of a larger team to ensure all essential day-to-day tasks are completed in line with nursery demands, including hygiene standards and room preparation
* Promote and ensure child welfare, protection, health and safety, and safeguarding
* Work with colleagues to maintain a positive, happy, and safe environment

## What You'll Need

* Full and relevant Level 3 or above Early Years qualification
* Previous experience working with children (Nursery Practitioner, Nursery Nurse, Early Years Educator, Nanny, Childminder, or similar)
* Passion for making learning fun and engaging for each child
* Ability to use a variety of communication techniques with both children and adults
* Sound understanding of child protection and the safeguarding of children
* Ability to be flexible and adaptable
