Job Description

As a qualified teacher with proficiency in both French and Spanish, you will be responsible for delivering engaging lessons to students across Key Stages 3 and 4, inspiring language skills, cultural awareness, and confidence in communication. The ideal candidate will have experience teaching French and Spanish in a secondary school setting and possess excellent communication skills, classroom management, and a passion for engaging students in language learning.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver high-quality French and Spanish lessons to students, potentially including Key Stage 5, depending on experience.
  • Inspire students to develop their language skills, cultural awareness, and confidence in communication through interactive and immersive approaches.
  • Evaluate student progress, provide constructive feedback, and support language development and academic progress.
  • Collaborate with the MFL department to contribute to curriculum planning and enrichment activities that foster a positive, inclusive environment.
  • Create an engaging and supportive classroom environment that encourages all students to participate and excel in language learning.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and proficiency in both French and Spanish.
  • Experience teaching French and Spanish in a secondary school setting.
  • Excellent communication skills, classroom management, and a passion for engaging students in language learning.
