Seasonal Event Management Specialist

Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Seasonal Event Management Specialist to join our team at Northumberland Estates. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing events at Syon Park, ensuring they are delivered to the highest standard and exceed customer expectations.

Key Responsibilities:
- To manage event operations, including staff supervision, logistics, and communication with external suppliers.
- To ensure health and safety standards are maintained across all locations and activities align with quality management, legal stipulations, environmental policies, and general duty of care.
- To liaise with catering and other external suppliers in line with agreed service level and performance standards.
- To deputise for the Event Manager where appropriate at weddings and events.
- To track and monitor client attendance, provide regular feedback on supplier performance, and ensure consistently high-quality customer service.
Requirements:
- A minimum of 12 months operational experience in managing events in historic or unique venues.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- An eye for detail, with a proven record of dealing with clients and handling conflicts.
- A quick-thinking team player with a flexible approach to an ever-changing environment.
- First Aid training and SIA qualification would be desirable but not essential.
Estimated Salary: £35,000 - £45,000 per annum, depending on experience.
