Membership Sales Manager

We are seeking an experienced Membership Sales Manager to join our team at a premium golf and fitness club in Saltash, South Cornwall/South Devon. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for driving membership sales and revenue growth, while providing exceptional customer service and leading a small team of sales consultants.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve membership sales targets and revenue growth.
  • Lead and motivate a small team of sales consultants to achieve their KPIs and contribute to the overall sales target.
  • Coach and develop sales skills, providing feedback and guidance to ensure team members are equipped to meet sales targets.
  • Collaborate with other departments to develop and implement in-reach strategies, such as promotions and events, to increase membership sales.
  • Identify trends in leavers and work with other departments to improve retention and net gain numbers.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring prospects and members have a fantastic experience.
Requirements:
  • Proven track record of success in sales and leadership roles, with a strong understanding of the leisure industry.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers and colleagues.
  • Hands-on approach to leadership, with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
  • Experience in proactively generating leads, with a strong understanding of sales planning and local marketing activities.
  • Comfortable working a range of mid-week shifts and some weekends, with the ability to travel to local businesses and events.
