Job Title: EMEA PR Director

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced PR Director to lead our external communications efforts across EMEA. As a key member of our communications team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive PR strategy that aligns with our business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute a pan-EMEA PR strategy that strengthens our employer brand and supports our business objectives.
  • Work closely with our Head of Communications to support the Europe Executive Board with executive communications, including media interviews, speechwriting, and social media management.
  • Collaborate with our digital and demand teams to enhance our online presence through SEO-optimized PR and social media content.
  • Manage the press office function, including media inbox management and timely responses to requests.
  • Develop and report on key metrics to measure the effectiveness of our external communications efforts.
  • Work closely with our retained PR agency to deliver excellent results against objectives on time and on budget.
  • Support external crisis communications activity under the guidance of our Head of Communications, EMEA, and Director of Strategic Marketing & Communications.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in a dedicated communications role, with a strong track record of delivering results.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to write concise and focused copy for senior management and board members.
  • Ability to meet deadlines and goals to a high standard and within budget.
  • Strong attention to detail and proofreading skills.
  • Awareness of best-practice communications and ability to advise and counsel divisions and senior management when required.
  • Creative and inquisitive, with excellent listening skills and the ability to develop targeted communications materials for external use.
  • Excellent understanding of digital platforms and the ability to create external campaigns with impact for EMEA audiences in time-constrained environments.
  • Proven experience in setting up metrics to measure the impact of communication activity.
  • Solid experience of creating content for digital platforms, including intranet, corporate website, and third-party suppliers.
  • Ability to manage budget for function and individual projects.
