Job Summary:

Pertemps TM is seeking a highly skilled Quantity Surveyor to join our client's team on a major tunnelling project in North West Wales. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the commercial team on a live site, working closely with the National Grid to construct a new tunnel.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the commercial team on a live site, ensuring the project is delivered on time and within budget.
  • Collaborate with the National Grid to develop and implement construction methodologies.
  • Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of the project's drawings and specifications.
  • Utilize Microsoft Excel, Word, and other programs to analyze data and create reports.
  • Ensure high levels of attention to detail, maintaining accurate records and documentation.
  • Hold a valid UK driving license and obtain a CSCS card to work on site.

Requirements:

  • BSc (Hons) in Quantity Surveying or a related field.
  • Strong knowledge of the New Engineering Contract (NEC) and construction methodologies.
  • Excellent computer literacy, with proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment, communicating with colleagues and stakeholders.
  • Highly organized, with strong time management and problem-solving skills.
