About the Role
This position offers a unique opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of our residents. As a Day Senior Care Assistant, you will be responsible for providing high-quality, individualized care and support to our residents during the day time, promoting their privacy, dignity, and independence.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and lead the shift team, ensuring that all residents receive the highest level of care and support.
- Work collaboratively with other team members to create a happy and caring atmosphere.
- Assist residents with daily activities, such as eating, dressing, and personal care.
- Monitor and report any changes in resident's condition or behavior.
- Participate in training and development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge.
Requirements
- At least 2 years' experience as a Care Assistant in residential care.
- Completed an L3 NVQ/Diploma in Health and Social Care.
- A compassionate and caring nature.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to use IT systems.
- Ability to lead and motivate staff members.
- Able to work on own initiative as well as part of a team.
