About the Role

This position offers a unique opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of our residents. As a Day Senior Care Assistant, you will be responsible for providing high-quality, individualized care and support to our residents during the day time, promoting their privacy, dignity, and independence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise and lead the shift team, ensuring that all residents receive the highest level of care and support.
  • Work collaboratively with other team members to create a happy and caring atmosphere.
  • Assist residents with daily activities, such as eating, dressing, and personal care.
  • Monitor and report any changes in resident's condition or behavior.
  • Participate in training and development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge.

Requirements

  • At least 2 years' experience as a Care Assistant in residential care.
  • Completed an L3 NVQ/Diploma in Health and Social Care.
  • A compassionate and caring nature.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to use IT systems.
  • Ability to lead and motivate staff members.
  • Able to work on own initiative as well as part of a team.
