We are seeking an experienced Residential Conveyancing Specialist to join our expanding team in Fareham, Hampshire. Our client is a reputable multi-service Law Firm covering the South Coast, accredited with Lexcel.
The successful candidate will be an experienced Solicitor, Chartered Legal Executive/CILEX Lawyer or Licenced Conveyancer with expertise in Residential Conveyancing, specifically with New Build plot purchasing experience. With excellent client care and communication skills, you should be able to build strong relationships with clients and intermediaries and become involved in marketing and business development opportunities.
Responsibilities include managing a caseload on a day-to-day basis, which includes all aspects of the conveyancing transaction from instruction to completion, registration and closure of the file. You will draft legal documents, conduct Pre-completion, Land Registry and Conveyancing searches accurately and timely, and carry out Post Completion work including preparing and sending applications to the Land Registry, Stamp Duty Land Tax submissions, file closures and checking account ledgers.
Qualified candidates with a Law Degree, LPC, qualified Licensed Conveyancer, Solicitor or Legal Executive (FCILEX) are preferred but not essential. Self-motivated and able to work alone or as part of a team, you should have knowledge of Case Management Systems and Microsoft Office especially Word, Excel and Outlook.
