Housing Solutions Officer Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Housing Solutions Officer to join our team in the Enfield area. As a key member of our Market Management Services team, you will provide housing advice, homelessness casework, and support to households in temporary accommodations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct suitability and affordability assessments to ensure the best possible outcomes for our clients.
  • Raise property/building repairs to maintain a safe and habitable environment for tenants.
  • Assist tenants with their home move from temporary accommodation to private rented housing, providing a seamless transition.
  • Conduct property inspections to identify any issues or concerns.
  • Move new tenants into their temporary accommodation property, ensuring a smooth and efficient process.
  • Liaise with managers and other departments regarding building or tenant queries, providing excellent customer service.
  • Upload files, comments, incidents, health and circumstances changes onto tenant profiles, maintaining accurate and up-to-date records.
Requirements:
  • Experience working in housing departments, either private or council.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively engage with various stakeholders.
  • Ability to communicate with stakeholders in a professional manner, resolving complex queries in a timely and efficient way.
  • Enhanced DBS check and 3 years' employment references.

This is an office-based role, and remote working is not accommodated. The pay rate is £20/hour, and the position requires 36 hours of work per week.
