Job Title: Behaviour Support Specialist

We are seeking a Behaviour Support Specialist to join our team at Beam ABA Services. As a Behaviour Support Specialist, you will play a vital role in supporting young adults with autism and learning disabilities in our home and community-based programmes across North London.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement person-centred programmes utilising Applied Behaviour Analysis and Positive Behaviour Support best practice
  • Support service users by teaching functional skills, developing communication systems, and enhancing social skills
  • Monitor and take accurate data daily as per service users' targets
  • Support individuals during times of crisis, such as behaviours of concern
  • Assist service users with self-help skills, including personal care and hygiene needs

Requirements:

  • 1 year of applied experience working with individuals with a diagnosis of learning disability and/or autism
  • Experience of supporting individuals who are non-verbal and promoting alternative modes of communication

Benefits:

  • Immediate salary for full-time staff from £22,113- £25,480 based on 35 hour working week
