Health, Safety & Environment Advisor

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Health, Safety & Environment Advisor to join our dynamic team at HRC Recruitment. As a key member of our team, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our clients while protecting their most valuable assets – their people and the environment.

About the Role:

  • Conduct thorough risk assessments and implement corrective actions to mitigate hazards.
  • Ensure all operations comply with HSE regulations and company policies, keeping up to date with changes in legislation.
  • Lead investigations into any accidents or near-misses, identifying root causes and recommending improvements.
  • Plan and execute regular safety audits across the site to identify areas for improvement.
  • Manage waste, energy use, and environmental impact to support the company's sustainability goals.
  • Deliver engaging HSE training sessions to staff at all levels, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Work closely with production teams, site managers, and external bodies to ensure a safe and compliant workplace.

Requirements:

  • NEBOSH General Certificate or equivalent HSE qualifications.
  • Proven track record in a similar HSE role, ideally within the manufacturing or food and beverage industry.
  • In-depth understanding of ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 standards.
  • Ability to engage and influence internal stakeholders at all levels.
  • Strong analytical skills to identify risks and implement effective solutions.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities.
  • Capable of leading safety training sessions and driving a positive safety culture.
  • Proficiency in HSE management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
