Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Clinical Psychologist to join our team as a Preceptorship post holder. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic and multidisciplinary team, providing specialist psychological services to children, young people, and their families.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide specialist psychological assessments and interventions for clients referred to CAMHS.
  • Formulate and implement plans for the formal psychological treatment and/or management of clients' mental health problems.
  • Supervise the clinical work of trainee clinical psychologists and other professionals.
  • Contribute to the development, evaluation, and monitoring of the team's operational policies and services.
  • Advise service and professional management on psychological and organizational matters.
Requirements
  • Qualification in Clinical Psychology or equivalent.
  • Experience working in CAMHS or a similar setting.
  • Ability to work as part of a multidisciplinary team.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work with clients from diverse backgrounds and with complex needs.
