Key Responsibilities:
- Clinical Care and Client Support:
- Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments and deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions for young people and families.
- Provide culturally informed, individual and group therapy sessions, ensuring services are accessible and responsive to diverse communities.
- Develop risk management plans and collaborate with healthcare professionals, referrers, and local agencies to ensure effective care planning and service delivery.
- Service Development:
- Participate in service improvement projects and contribute to shaping organizational policies that reflect best practices in mental health care.
- Supervision and Leadership:
- Provide clinical supervision to junior practitioners and assistant psychologists, ensuring high-quality service delivery and continuous professional development.
- Training and Professional Development:
- Deliver specialist training in psychological care to staff and external professionals, promoting excellence in the field.
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will require:
- A postgraduate qualification in Psychology (Clinical, Forensic, Applied, etc.)
- A minimum of 2 years' experience in therapeutic services, particularly in Health and Social Care, with expertise in working with children and young people
- Experience with learning disabilities and mental health is a plus
- A valid driving license is essential
What We Offer:
We offer a competitive salary range of £40,000 - £55,000, depending on experience. This role also provides opportunities for professional growth and development, as well as a hybrid work model (home and office-based).
