Estimated Salary: £13.38 - £26.76 per hour inclusive of holiday pay

Job Description:

As a Residential Childcare Professional, you will be responsible for providing support and care to children and young people in a residential setting. Your primary goal will be to promote their independence, wellbeing, and safety while fostering a nurturing environment that encourages growth and development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • To provide emotional and practical support to young people within your care
  • To attend weekend activities, holidays, and trips away with the children
  • To maintain an up-to-date knowledge of care plans and guidelines to ensure the safety of young people
  • To support and minimize incidents when behavior can be challenging

Requirements:

  • A desire to create positive outcomes for vulnerable children and young people
  • Empathetic, caring, and resilient nature
  • At least 6 months experience of working with children or within a similar Social Care setting
  • Valid UK Driving Licence
  • Hold a current Enhanced DBS on the update service or willing to obtain one
  • The right to work in the UK
