Job Summary

We are seeking a highly experienced Business Development Director to join our senior team in the Healthcare sector. As a key member of our Business Development team, you will be responsible for growing our customer base and delivering our business development strategy.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and Execute Business Development Strategy - Develop and maintain a strong pipeline of opportunities across the healthcare sector, ensuring accurate forecasting and achievement of sales targets.
  • Provide Business Development Leadership - Utilize best industry practice and processes to develop sector-specific prospect and account plans, leading pursuit teams to develop pipeline and deliver revenue.
  • Build and Maintain Strategic Partnerships - Establish and maintain successful partnerships with other businesses in our ecosystem, positioning Kainos as a trusted and valued partner.
  • Negotiate and Manage Senior Stakeholders - Expertly negotiate and manage senior stakeholder relationships, presenting and refining proposals to achieve win-win outcomes for Kainos and our customers.
  • Be an External Kainos Ambassador - Embody and promote the culture, values, and behaviors that make Kainos unique, ensuring a strong external customer focus.
  • Work Collaboratively with Cross-Functional Teams - Collaborate with subject-matter experts, colleagues from other business units, and industry partners to maximize cross-selling opportunities and support the growth of the Healthcare sector team.

Requirements

  • Experience in Leading Business Development - Proven experience in leading Business Development with healthcare sector client accounts in excess of £5m per annum, selling complex digital solutions.
  • Expertise in Digital Service Concepts - Excellent knowledge of digital service concepts and our markets, with the ability to articulate the distinct aspects of products and services and position them against competitors.
  • Business Development Processes - Expertise in business development processes, deal commercials, and constructing complex commercial offers.
  • Leadership and Communication Skills - Ability to communicate, present, and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of the customer organization, including executive and C-level.
  • Networking and Partnership Building - Expert networking skills and the ability to build strong and appropriate relationships with senior stakeholders.
