Surgical Support Worker

We are seeking an experienced Surgical Support Worker to join our team at One Healthcare Partners Limited. As a key member of our operating theatre team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our theatres and providing high-quality patient care.

Your primary responsibilities will include assisting qualified nurses in the preparation of patients for surgery, participating in admission, recovery, and discharge processes, and maintaining accurate patient records. You will also be responsible for coordinating the use of supplies and equipment, and contributing to the maintenance and cleaning of equipment and procedure rooms.

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. A minimum GCSE education or equivalent is required, with NVQ or equivalent training in Health & Social Care preferred. Clinical experience in a surgical theatre setting is desirable, but not essential.

We offer a competitive salary of £28,000 - £35,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus benefits such as comprehensive training and development opportunities, and a supportive work environment.
