Instrumentation, Control and Automation Technician

We are seeking a skilled Instrumentation, Control and Automation Technician to join our Water Production Operations Team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and effective operation of our water treatment works, with a focus on maintaining the required standards to meet statutory obligations and asset availability.
The ideal candidate will have a strong practical understanding of operational assets and control systems, with a solid understanding of SCADA systems and PLCs. They will also be fully versed in relay logic and programming, with experience in management and programming of Rockwell and Alan Bradley systems.
As an Instrumentation, Control and Automation Technician, you will be responsible for installations, commissioning, maintenance, and repairs of water production assets, including level instrumentation, flow meters, and TVM turbidity monitors. You will also work with technology, including SCADA systems, associated PLCs, and process control networks, and liaise with and supervise contractors and suppliers where necessary.
This is a mobile role, requiring the successful candidate to work across multiple sites in the SE London region. A valid driving licence is essential, as is the ability to work in a safe, efficient, timely and effective manner with minimum supervision.
We offer a competitive salary up to £45,600 per annum, depending on skills and experience, with standby rota payments and overtime opportunities available to increase earning potential. We also offer a contributory pension, 24 days holiday per year, increasing to 28 days with length of service, and a range of other benefits.
