Job Opportunity: Head of Property Maintenance

White and Sons, a leading property consultancy, is seeking an experienced professional to lead our Property Management department. As the Head of Property Maintenance, you will be responsible for overseeing the smooth operation of our property maintenance services, ensuring exceptional service delivery to landlords, tenants, and contractors.

We are looking for a dynamic individual with a strong background in property management and maintenance, who can effectively manage a team and drive results. The successful candidate will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.

The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of property maintenance regulations and compliance, with experience in managing a portfolio of residential units. They will also be proficient in using property management software, such as Reapit, and have a strong attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and coordinate property maintenance activities, ensuring timely and effective delivery of services
  • Lead a team of property coordinators, providing guidance and support to ensure excellent service delivery
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve property maintenance services, ensuring compliance with regulations and industry standards
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, contractors, and stakeholders, ensuring excellent communication and customer service
  • Monitor and report on property maintenance performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions
Requirements:
  • At least 2-3 years of experience in a similar role, with a focus on property management and maintenance
  • ARLA qualified, with up-to-date knowledge of changes in legislation
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and stakeholders
  • Proficient in using property management software, such as Reapit
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work under pressure
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
