Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Paediatric Sister/Charge Nurse to join our dynamic team at The Royal London Hospital. As a key member of our 7F Children's wards, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care and contributing to the development of our paediatric services.

Main Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Providing leadership and management to the staff team, ensuring effective use of human resources and safe and efficient service delivery.
  • Developing and implementing nursing care plans to meet the individual needs of each patient, ensuring well-documented assessment, care planning, and evaluation.
  • Collaborating with the ward manager to develop services and manage the day-to-day running of the ward.
  • Providing clinical support and guidance to peers, junior members of staff, and students, and identifying opportunities for continued professional development and competencies.
Person Specification

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • RSCN/RN Child with current registration.
  • Preparation for mentorship course or equivalent.
  • Experience of working within an acute paediatric setting.
