Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Attendance and Admissions Officer to join our team at Love Success Recruitment. As a key member of our administrative team, you will be responsible for maintaining a high level of student attendance, reducing absence and unauthorized absence, and supporting the admission process.

Key Responsibilities
  • Liaise with parents/carers and students regarding attendance issues, arrange calls to follow up student absence, and chase up reasons for absence using agreed systems.
  • Record parent/carer notification of student absence, produce reports for Senior Management, Head of Years, Form Tutors, and governing body as required, and maintain attendance files and archive as necessary.
  • Handle admission enquiries from schools, parents/carers, students, and external agencies, manage requests for prospectus, application forms, and facilitate the progressions of applications.
  • Respond to appeals and requests for feedback accurately and completely, minimize upward referral, and liaise with Clerk to Governors, Governing Body, Appeal Clerk, and Appeal Panel members regarding all lodged appeals.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess a strong customer focus, provide a high-quality and effective administration service, and be proactive in maintaining a high level of student attendance. You will also need to be able to work in partnership with Senior Staff, Head of Years, Form Tutors, LA, and other relevant agencies.
