### Job Description

As a skilled Plumbing & Heating Engineer, you will join the Customer Care Department and be responsible for carrying out repairs and maintenance on mechanical systems within new build projects. Your primary objective will be to ensure that any issues raised by customers post-handover are resolved promptly and efficiently.

### Key Responsibilities

* **Fault Finding**: Diagnose and repair mechanical faults, particularly within plumbing, heating, and HVAC systems in newly built properties.
* **Repairs & Maintenance**: Carry out reactive and planned maintenance tasks on mechanical systems including boilers, radiators, underfloor heating, pipework, and associated plumbing infrastructure.
* **Customer Interaction**: Liaise directly with homeowners, ensuring that any concerns are addressed professionally and efficiently. Provide excellent customer care and after-sales service, maintaining the company's reputation for high standards.
* **Quality Control**: Ensure that all work is carried out to industry standards and complies with health & safety regulations, as well as company policies.
* **Collaboration**: Work closely with the Customer Care and Construction teams to resolve issues promptly and minimize disruption to homeowners.
* **Documentation**: Maintain accurate records of work completed, including fault diagnoses, repairs, parts used, and time taken. Provide reports and updates to the Customer Care Manager

### Required Skills & Qualifications

* Ability to use diagnostic tools and equipment
* Knowledge of building regulations and new build housing standards
* Full, clean UK driving licence
* IT literate with experience in reporting and documenting via customer care systems
