We're seeking a highly skilled Information Risk Consultant to join our team at Cyberfort, a leading provider of cybersecurity solutions. As a key member of our consulting team, you will play a critical role in helping our clients mitigate information risk and ensure the security of their IT infrastructure.

The ideal candidate will possess strong hands-on experience in reviewing project delivery plans relating to security systems, evaluating network and security technologies, and developing requirements for network and cloud security designs as well as hardware & software. A competitive salary of £65,000 - £85,000 per annum (DOE) is on offer, along with a comprehensive benefits package that includes 25 days annual leave plus 8 statutory holidays, buy or sell up to 5 additional days per year, pension, private medical, life assurance, and employee rewards package.

About the Job Description

This is an exciting opportunity to join our world-class consultancy arm, supporting the next phase of Cyberfort's growth. You'll be working closely with expert peers in Secure Architecture and Risk planning, collaborating on projects across various sectors with a diverse client base.

As an Information Risk Consultant, you will work within our Consulting team to support new and existing clients across various sectors to define and implement security architectures and solutions that match their requirements. You'll be responsible for promoting the adoption of architectural and Secure By Design principles to reduce information risk, identifying security risks that arise from potential solution architectures, and advising on alternate solutions or counter measures to mitigate identified information risks.

  • Support the production and adoption of the client's IT security framework, including Security Architecture policies, principles, and standards for application across the organisation.
  • Alignment to industry standards and regulation e.g. ISO/IEC 27001/27002/27005. Security specific patterns, models, and blueprints.
  • Define as-is and to-be security architectures. The security architecture roadmap. Security technology radars and KPIs. Security architecture specific tools and methodologies.
  • Promote the adoption of architectural and Secure By Design principles to reduce information risk.
  • Identify security risks that arise from potential solution architectures, advising and assuring alternate solutions or counter measures to mitigate identified information risks.
