We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Fire & Security Installation/Service Engineer to join our team at Kingdom People.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and servicing of CCTV, fire alarm, and security systems, particularly within temporary or mobile setups.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Install, configure, and test temporary and permanent systems, including CCTV cameras, fire alarms, wireless communication systems, and power sources.
  • Perform regular maintenance and troubleshooting on installed systems to ensure optimal performance.
  • Respond promptly to service calls, resolving technical issues on-site related to both CCTV and fire/security systems.
  • Conduct site surveys and assessments to determine the best placement and configuration for CCTV cameras, fire alarms, and other security systems.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant safety regulations and industry standards, particularly those related to fire safety.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation of installations, maintenance activities, and service calls.
  • Provide training and support to clients on the operation and basic maintenance of CCTV, fire alarms, and security systems.
  • Collaborate with project managers, site supervisors, and other stakeholders to ensure successful deployments and integration of systems.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in the installation, maintenance, and servicing of CCTV, fire alarms, and security systems, including both temporary and permanent setups.
  • Strong technical knowledge of CCTV cameras, fire alarm systems, wireless communication technologies, and power systems.
  • Experience with fire suppression systems and emergency lighting is a plus.
  • Passionate about delivering a best-in-class service.
  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills, especially with fire and security systems.
  • Ability to work at heights and in various outdoor environments.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in using relevant software and tools for the configuration, maintenance, and monitoring of security and fire safety systems.
  • Experience with construction site or event security setups, including the integration of fire safety systems.
  • Knowledge of networking and IT infrastructure, particularly as it relates to security and fire alarm systems.
  • Familiarity with remote monitoring and control systems for both CCTV and fire alarms.
  • Electrical or electronics background or certification, with specific training in fire safety systems being a distinct advantage.
Working Conditions:

This role is field-based and requires the ability to work in various outdoor environments. A company van and fuel card will be provided, as well as paid door-to-door travel.
